Rich is a fitness industry veteran with over 40 years of experience and a Master of Science in Education and Fitness Management. He is the former President of The Fitness Company (TFC), which owned and managed fitness facilities from Boston to Miami. Rich helped build TFC from three facilities to 80 before he left to form Professional Fitness Management (ProFIT) in 2001. Rich has served on the Board of Directors of the International Health and Racquet Sports Club Association (IHRSA). He has extensive experience in the management and design of fitness and recreation facilities. Rich’s passion is motivating fitness professionals to provide professional services designed to get clients and members involved in an active lifestyle.
Bob Wagner is a CPA and a real estate professional with nearly 40 years of experience. After five years with Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young & Co), Bob spent four years as Treasurer of a publicly held international construction company with revenues of over $100 million. In 1982, Bob joined The Barlow Corporation (Barlow), a Chevy Chase, MD based commercial real estate development and management company, as Chief Financial Officer advancing to become its President and CEO. During his tenure with Barlow, Bob negotiated nearly $500 million in real estate purchases, sales, refinancings, and loans and was responsible for its fitness clubs.
Gail has held executive positions at the most prestigious amenity and wellness management companies in the nation. Her passion involves mentoring teams of professional individuals and achieving common goals. She possesses 45 years of experience in the amenity management, aquatics and design domains and has worked closely with Rich Mandley to build ProFIT’s bottom line. Gail holds a MA degree in exercise physiology from Columbia University, and is an American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist, and NSPF Certified Pool Operator.
Solomon Ince is the Regional Director of Professional Fitness Management. His 20
years in the health and fitness industry has provided him the opportunity to work with some of the big name commercial and corporate fitness companies in every fitness and management role spanning from New York City to Northern Virginia.
During Solomon’s career, he has consistently trained thousands of fitness and wellness clients, taught thousands of group exercise classes, and has mentored and trained hundreds of health and fitness support staff. Solomon’s love for professional wellness has created multiple healthy HUBs for the enthusiast and beginners alike.
Jill Bakner is an Executive Director with nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Jill has a strong focus on creating award winning wellness programming that promotes activity in the workplace while also enhancing the healthy lifestyles of residential communities. Jill believes that finding ways to make physical activity fun and effective, make people feel like it is something they want to do and not something they have to do. Jill has her BS in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University and is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
